Clients
often come to us with problems whose solution lies in grassroots
communication. Opposition to projects can often be deep and widespread,
but we are experienced in helping both public- and private-sector
clients arrive at resolutions of community issues that might otherwise
stall or derail projects.
Our
civic affairs group has built a reputation for working at the grassroots,
bringing together people whose objectives might differ but who share
common ground. This is painstaking work by people who have earned
credibility and trust at the grassroots level. It involves formal
and informal meetings, individually and with groups; lots of phone
calls and follow-up; the building and maintenance of databases;
and repeated written communications.
It's
a formula that has repeatedly helped us build and manage non-traditional
coalitions to bring about positive civic, cultural, environmental
and economic outcomes that satisfy - and gratify - clients and communities
alike.
