Dazzle Your Taste Buds with Sweet and Savory Treats this Summer at McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii

HONOLULU – Starting today, three exciting new items will join the menu at McDonald’s restaurants across the Hawaiian Islands.

Sure to beat the summer heat are the Chocolate Dipped Cone and McCafé Chocolate Chip Frappé. The Chocolate Dipped Cone, easily a crowd favorite, is a creamy, soft-serve vanilla ice cream cone dipped in rich chocolate that forms a hard shell. Sweeten up your daily buzz with the newest member to the McCafé family, the Chocolate Chip Frappé. This decadent ice- blended drink is made with rich mocha, sweet caramel, coffee and chocolate chips, topped off with a swirl of whipped cream and a double drizzle of chocolate and caramel.

The popular Chicken McBites are also back – with a kick. The new Spicy Chicken McBites are crispy, poppable pieces of juicy chicken breast, marinated and seasoned with garlic, salt, onion and a blend of pepper varieties. The new item comes in three on-the-go sizes – Snack (3 oz.), Regular (5 oz.) and Shareable (10 oz.), along with the same selection of dipping sauce flavors as the Chicken McNuggets and Chicken Selects – Tangy BBQ, Creamy Ranch, Honey Mustard, Sweet & Sour, Sweet Chili, Spicy Buffalo, Chipotle BBQ and Hot Mustard.

The Chocolate Dipped Cone, McCafé Chocolate Chip Frappé and Spicy Chicken McBites will be offered in stores statewide for a limited time only, while supplies last.
